Taxonomic Notes: Vitis x doaniana is considered a hybrid between V. acerifolia and V. mustangensis by Flora of North America (2016), confirmed by Zecca et al. (2020). However, Zecca et al. (2020) indicate that Vitis rupestris also contributes to the the origin of Vitis x doaniana, suggesting a more complex origin for this hybrid taxon.

Assigning the State and County to each occurrence

When latitude and longitude data was used to assign the state/country when possible.
